Very good experience. It is a small space. Even though it was busy and felt the crowd (because it is a small space) the Service was great. We shared a cup of chili which was probably the best part of the meal. Would definitely order the chili as a meal if we come again. I had the zesty sloppy joe and my husband had the chicken burger. Both sauces were good but i really enjoyed the prohibition sauce it had a good kick. The coleslaw was my least fav as it had too much mayonnaise. The chocolate cake was decadent. All in all a good experience

Everything about this place was spot on. Ribs and wings were delectable. Our server Mary was the nicest person. We fell in love and told her we wanted to take her home lol. We just kept ordering more food. The entire staff was super friendly and the other guests were lovely to talk to while we waited for our table. Can't wait to come back here when we are in Chicago again!

Their ribs with spicy bbq sauce are on point. We also ordered their pull pork sandwiches and carrot cake. Highly recommend this Chicago institution.

It can get very crowded at dinner, but I highly suggest coming here as a late lunch place. Walk half-way into the restaurant, passed the bar to the host stand to get a table or put your name on the list. Great old fashioneds, onions rings are good and the ribs are perfect. Go for the zesty/spicy sauce - it isn’t hot - it is flavorful.

Soooo good. Try the spicy Prohibition sauce. Bottles of the sauce make a great unique Chicago gift! I love sitting at the bar. Rivas come fast. I swear this is the place ‘Adams Ribs’ was based on in an old episode of MASH. :)

What a way to start 2024 to go to Twin Anchors for dinner with my daughter and son-in-law!! They told me this was where we needed to go because they have awesome ribs. They were right. I hand the full slab of ribs with their baked beans. They tender and had great flavor, and so did the baked beans. I also had one of the drinks called Lake Effect. I recommend all of what I had. The ribs are that good. The rest of the menu must be just as good. If you have not been to Twin Anchors. You really need to get there.

The ribs are fabulous as always. The place is so consistent and the service is always outstanding with Arty. Miss the bread sticks they use to pass out but the meals are still top notch.

This is old school, feel good vibe and food. Frank Sinatra knew that.. he had the ribs flown to the west coast. Hollywood knows this… they film movies here all the time. You should know it… now you do. Ask for the “prohibition sauce”, if you don’t want spicy.

We just came back here after visiting two months ago with a large group. Had to bring dad for his birthday. He was not disappointed. The ribs were excellent, the prohibition sauce is so damn good. Wish I would have known about the ice cream bar. Ordered a full slab just to take home leftovers. Will definitely be back! Worth the drive from the burbs.

Wonderful place for ribs! Great service and really cool history. Also the pepper jack spinach was really good and the ribs just fall off the bone!
